Level 3 Noodle Neophyte

So, I finally started playing Kingdom of Loathing.
I have a familiar named Mogdor. After a bit of fighting, it has grown to 2 pounds. Sounds small, but to me that seems pretty massive for a mosquito. Unfortunately, I have run out of "Adventures" for today, so I must wait until later to play some more.

That, of course, won't stop me from exploring and seeing if there are other things I can do.

I'm out.

New Natural Hair Color?

Occasionally I like to dye my hair.
Most frequently of the colors I have used since I began this occasional tradition... is red. I have used several brands.

Tonight, I tried a new brand. "Garnier".
It did not work very well at all. After following the instructions exactly, which, oddly enough, were pretty much the same as every other brand I have tried..... there was no visible change in color to my hair.

So... either Light Red is my natural hair color (and I just cannot see the red in it)... or...
Garnier hair color doesn't work.

I am leaning toward the latter.

I guess I shall wait a couple of weeks and try one of the brands I KNOW works.
Revlon, L'Oréal, Random Other Brands...
No more Garnier.

New Year's in New Orleans

For those of you reading that know me.... you know who you are...
You are officially being notified that I am officially recruiting for an official trip to New Orleans on the official last day of 2007 and the official first day of 2008. Officially.

Ok, all playing aside... Yes. I intend to be in New Orleans for New Year's this year. Yes, I realize this could be difficult for some, especially with Christmas being a week before that. However, if you would like to go too, let me know as soon as you can so we know how many will be going. This will make it easier to determine how many hotel rooms we would need.

The last time I was in New Orleans was before Ivan. New Year's was fantastic. I can only hope that it will once again be fantastic. I remember the melon-flavored hand-grenade drinks being my favorite. They were also pretty strong. I also managed to start a several-thousand-person-strong "WHOOOOOO". Though, I think that was before I was even a member of the PF crew.

Anyway, to the rest of you Crew members. Email me, call me, or text me with a DEFINITE reply. If you tell me YES, I better see you there. If you tell me No, well.... then I will not necessarily prepare for you to come, but I may still continue to try to recruit you. Once we get a decent number of replies, I can probably try to figure out roughly the cost for each person.

Great... Just Great

Well, in recent months, I have been noticing quite a bit of pain in my wrist. I feared that maybe it was early signs of that dreaded typing syndrome. You know the one.
Anyway... I kind of shrugged it off as just a tired wrist.
Well, I do not know if the above information is relevant or not... but what I do know is this....
My wrist really hurts now.
I think I sprained it.

This is definitely not good. I hope I am jumping to conclusions. Perhaps a night of rest and recuperation is all it needs.
