Koran 9:11 Predicted 9/11?
Ok, so I got a chain letter today with a lot of not-so-backed-up information in it.
Essentially, it claims that the Koran itself predicted the 9/11 attacks, and it also predicted the war in Iraq.
Here is the letter (with the email addresses removed)...

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.
5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq !
7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.
9 Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
10. Amos cried out in Iraq!
11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.
12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!
13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)
14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.
15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq .
16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
17. The wise men were from Iraq.
18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon , which was a city in Iraq !
And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land ofShinar , and Mesopotamia . The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and ! Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.
Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.
No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq.
And also.. This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...
The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)
Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !

Ok...I thought this was just too good to be true.
I was all ready to just...revel in the wondrousness of such a fact.
Then, the analyst in me decided to cross-check this information.
Sure enough, searching for this information does indeed bring up much support for this fact. Tons of websites are displaying this same information.
For some reason, I was still not satisfied.
So....I decided to actually check the Koran itself.
.....
Guess what I found?
NO mention of an "Eagle" OR a "Son of Arabia".
In fact....here is Koran Chapter 9 Verse 11:
"[9.11] But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know"
I confirmed this with three different online versions of the Koran (Quran).
DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE!!
I know it would be great for this to be true, but it is FALSE.
Whoever created this letter is just trying to fool a LOT of people, and they have succeeded.

WAW! The information here is really scary. I think somebody changed a bit the plot of Koran and sent it to the Americans to inform them NOT TO POKE THE NOSE INTO IRAQ, and it's policy, international affairs.
So that letter was used to frighten Americans and beware the soldiers: "This is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq." The main reason of such kind of information is the disire of the American VIPs to make their country a leader in the world, and interfering in the life of another countries.

My opinion is that such kind of email was created to scary Americans, plus AS A RESULT OF publishing those caricatures.
You know there isn't a big difference between Christian's and Muslim's Commandments beside one principle: "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". Christianity has opposite position:"Ye resist not evil but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself"/Matthew 5:39-44/.
And...I think or it's even better to say I suppose that THIS LETTER HAS CREATED A CHRISTIAN. Look at the profound knowledge of the Old Testament. Do you think Muslim would know all that??? Do we, Christians, know so well Koran, and how much times did it take you to find the lines of Koran and to read them??? And how much times will Muslim need to find and read about Assyria, Mesopotamia, Isaac's wife Rebeka, Noah, Babylon etc., without having a footnote where to search it.
